Major Assignments:

Member of Technology team: supported Essar’s 10.5 MMTPA Refinery at Stanlow – UK. Developed plans and feasibility reports of Revamp/debottlenecking of various Refinery process units such as CDU, HDS, FCCU. Prepared DFR for installing PSA unit for purification of Reformer gas to get 99.5% pure H2.

Developed sustainability projects for Stanlow Refinery covering Blue H2 production from NG and CO2 capturing and sequestrating to nearby offshore fields, prepared PFR for HVO/SAF from UCO/Animal Tallow to meet UK emission norms.

Adviser-Technical Services to Essar for scouting and developing Projects in Oil & Gas sector covering a refinery in Iraq, naphtha injection project for improving yields for Venezuelan oil fields, petrochemical units in Iran, Evaluation & Bidding for Petrobras - Brazil refineries put up for disinvestment, evaluating shut down of Moroccan Samir refinery.

Head Procurement – Hydrocarbon SBU of Essar Projects implemented   EPC contracts in Oil & Gas sector for BPCL Kochi CDSP Project, IOCL – Paradip, Takreer – Abu Dhabi. 

Vice President Engineering with Essar Engineering Services managing engineering for Essar Oil’s refinery expansion project from 12 MMTPA to 20 MMTPA, controlling activities of DEC’s Technip – Delhi & Chennai, Aker Power Gas, Lummus Technology, Toyo, PDIL & in house engineering team.

Total Engineering of OSBL facilities for Essar Refinery Expansion Project at Vadinar.

 

Undertook detailed engineering activities of IOCL Paradip Project for CDU/VDU, NHT/CCR, SWS/ARU units and OSBL facilities of Jurong Aromatics Project at Singapore. 

Vice President Projects with Spice Energy for relocating 5.0 MMTPA Refinery from Germany/Canada to Haldia

General Manager Projects with Essar Oil setting up green field Refinery of 10.5 MMTPA and subsequent expansion to 20 MMTPA
